As our church continued to know Christ and make Him known this past year, we did so in a world marked by change. Truly, this has been a year of unprecedented change at Reston Bible Church, and we found the Lordβs blessing in many changes taking place within the life and rhythms of our church. At His gracious direction and timing, our senior pastor of almost 50Β years has been called to pass the baton. Our youth pastor of more than 30 years has taken an exciting new roleΒ at RBC. The Lord has provided new ministry leaders for our Women’s Ministry, the Food Pantry,Β andΒ International Connection program. Many new and returning faces can be seen faithfully serving our youth andΒ children. A lot has changed, but what has not changed is our desire to know Christ and make HimΒ known as we gather, grow, give and goβall for God’s glory. As you scroll through this page, be encouraged and rejoice with us at how He continues to use His church to accomplish Kingdom purposes. A lot has changed this year, but praise God that He never will.
Every number represents a person.
Every person has a story.
Every story involves God.
“The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.”

βSo then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.β (Galatians 6:10)
βBut in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.β
(1 Peter 3:15)
βLet no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.β
(1 Timothy 4:12)
We continued to face many challenges this year with COVID, but God was faithful to bring the Childrenβs Ministry through another fruitful year of sowing seeds into the lives of the next generation. We had a few new events like the first annual missions cornhole tournament as well as our Family Quest Challenge party held outside for the first time with a dunk tank, which was a big hit with 100+ kids and parents! Weβve had more families come back to in-person gatherings so it actually felt good to be a little crowded in the halls of the Quest area again! We look forward to continuing to partner with you in raising the next generation to know Christ and make Him known.
βTherefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.β (Proverbs 27:17)
βEveryone then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.β
(Matthew 7:24)
βFor I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed Me.β (Matthew 25:35)
